Ken Jackson is an expressive photographer, largely self-educated in the craft, esthetics, and history of photography. In the past few years his work has gained wider recognition and has been shown in a number of exhibitions in the US.

Jackson’s photographs are poetic and often even numinous, evoking mystery and soul. Working in both digital and analog media, he renders much of his work in prints of an intimate, unique nature using alternative/historical processes as well as in contemporary inkjet media.

In addition to practicing photography, Jackson is a musician and a writer, and currently resides in Carrboro, North Carolina.
